Year 2081 B.S. Success Story: Bandipur Attracts 200,000 Tourists

A total of 200,000 tourists visited Bandipur during the year 2081 B.S., according to the Bandipur Visit Year Secretariat. Out of these, 60,000 were foreign tourists, while 150,000 were domestic visitors.

According to the Secretariat, various initiatives were carried out during the ongoing Bandipur Visit Year, which began on January 1. These included infrastructure development, data collection, skilled manpower training, and programs to assess the standards of tourism entrepreneurs.

Activities such as hospitality services were improved with the aim of encouraging tourists to stay longer and spend more within the town area. Efforts were also made to expand tourist destinations and products, as well as to enhance tourism facilities and services.

Tourists arrived in Bandipur from countries including Japan, China, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, France, the United States, Germany, Denmark, Pakistan, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Belgium, Thailand, Switzerland, Malaysia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Iran, India, Greece, and Argentina.
