The Tianjin International Land Port witnessed a historic moment as the inaugural China-Europe freight train departed for Moscow, Russia on Monday. This marks the commencement of the land port’s first direct route connecting China to Europe via rail.

Loaded with 1,129 tonnes of goods, the train embarked on its journey, scheduled to traverse through the port of Erenhot in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Northern China. The route is expected to span approximately 15 days, culminating in Moscow, Russia.
