Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, setting the benchmark for currency transactions across the country. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 139.24, while the selling rate stands at NPR 139.84.
Similarly, the exchange rates for major global currencies have been determined. The buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 145.89, and the selling rate is NPR 146.52. The British Pound Sterling is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 175.87 and a selling rate of NPR 176.63, while the Swiss Franc is set at NPR 155.45 for buying and NPR 156.11 for selling.
Among other currencies, the Australian Dollar is traded at NPR 88.19 for buying and NPR 88.57 for selling, whereas the Canadian Dollar has been set at NPR 97.63 and NPR 98.05 for buying and selling, respectively. The Singapore Dollar’s rates stand at NPR 103.96 for buying and NPR 104.41 for selling.
For Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (10 units) is exchanged at NPR 9.29 for buying and NPR 9.33 for selling. The Chinese Yuan has been set at NPR 19.17 and NPR 19.25 for buying and selling, respectively. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is being traded at NPR 37.13 for buying and NPR 37.29 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is valued at NPR 38.20 and NPR 38.36 for buying and selling, respectively.

Additionally, the exchange rate for the Thai Baht is NPR 4.13 for buying and NPR 4.15 for selling. The United Arab Emirates Dirham is set at NPR 37.91 and NPR 38.08 for buying and selling, respectively. The Malaysian Ringgit is exchanged at NPR 31.48 for buying and NPR 31.62 for selling. The South Korean Won (100 units) is valued at NPR 9.70 for buying and NPR 9.75 for selling. The Swedish Kroner is set at NPR 13.09 and NPR 13.15 for buying and selling, respectively, while the Danish Kroner is exchanged at NPR 19.56 for buying and NPR 19.64 for selling.
For other international currencies, the Hong Kong Dollar has been set at NPR 17.91 for buying and NPR 17.99 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is traded at NPR 451.33 for buying and NPR 453.28 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 369.44 for buying and NPR 371.03 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is exchanged at NPR 361.66 and NPR 363.22 for buying and selling, respectively.
The Indian Rupee exchange rate for NPR 100 stands at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. NRB has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as per market fluctuations.
