The trading session began with the index at 2,138.61 points. Throughout the day, the index dipped to an intraday low of 2,129.71 points but recovered to an intraday high of 2,152.24 points before settling at the closing value of 2,152.14 points.
In another development, the Hotel and Tourism Index, which tracks the performance of floated shares, saw a minor decline. It decreased by 15.81 points, a drop of 0.28%, closing at 5,513.94 points. This decrease follows a significant loss of 53.28 points in the previous session.
The day for the Float Index began at 5,521.96 points, reaching an intraday low of 5,487.11 points. Despite briefly touching a high of 5,563.90 points, the index ultimately closed at 5,513.94 points.
