According to Bhimsen Pokharel, Treasurer of the Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha Main Ceremony Committee, the funds were collected through donations, Kalash (sacred pot) sales, and donation boxes placed at the site during the event. In a financial transparency program hosted by the organizing committee, Treasurer Pokharel reported that NPR 38,050,000 was collected through donation receipts, NPR 1,437,000 through donation boxes, and NPR 1,000,000 from the women’s committee (Matrishakti). On the expenditure side, the event incurred a total cost of NPR 10,445,461, which was spent across various categories of the event.

During the program, Dinbandhu Pokharel, chief patron of the Narayan Pokharel Foundation, emphasized the significance of the Badrinarayan Dham. He stated that the purpose of constructing the dham was to deliver the message that one of the Char Dhams (four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites) is located in Nepal as well. His vision reflects a blend of spiritual and cultural tourism aspirations that aim to establish the dham as a national pilgrimage destination.

Jayaram Lamichhane, coordinator of the Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha Main Ceremony Committee, highlighted that the dham has played a crucial role in bringing recognition to Nagarjun Municipality. He mentioned that the complex is not just a temple but an entire spiritual and community hub designed to support religious activities, wellness practices, and administrative functions.

The Badrinarayan Dham is set to become a major spiritual landmark, featuring several important structures including the main Badrinarayan Temple, an administrative building, the Narayan Pokharel Foundation’s central office, a yoga and meditation center, a sacrificial fire altar (Havan Kund), and a Panchayan Temple dedicated to deities such as Ganesh, Surya, Devi, and Shiva.

The event and the dham’s construction reflect a growing movement in Nepal to revive and promote indigenous religious sites. With increasing local participation and transparency in management, the dham has already begun establishing itself as a symbol of spiritual unity and cultural identity. Through the dedication of the Narayan Pokharel Foundation and community support, Ramkot is now emerging as a new spiritual tourism hub, likely to attract both domestic and international pilgrims in the coming years.
