The Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province Office, in collaboration with the Tourist Police Office, Pokhara, successfully organized a two-day training program titled “Security of Tourist, Information Flow, and Data Collection.” The event was held at the Pokhara Grande Hotel from July 8 to 9, 2024, and aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants from various security-related offices in Pokhara.
The program focused on key areas such as ensuring the safety of tourists, improving information dissemination, and optimizing data collection processes. Participants from different security agencies, including the District Police Office, Kaski; Armed Police Force No. 24, Kalika, Kaski; National Investigation District Office, Kaski; and the District Traffic Police Office, Kaski, attended the training.
The training was made possible with the support of the Chief District Officer, Kaski, and the chiefs of Krishnadal Gan, Fulbari, Pokhara. Other notable participants included representatives from the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, the Immigration Office in Pokhara, and the City Police Office, Pokhara Metropolitan.
