The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for today, reflecting the central bank’s ongoing efforts to maintain stability in the financial market. According to the latest update, the U.S. dollar is valued at a buying rate of NPR 141.76 and a selling rate of NPR 142.36. This adjustment aligns with the bank’s strategy to monitor currency movements while ensuring smooth foreign exchange operations across the country.

Exchange Rates for Key Global Currencies

In addition to the U.S. dollar, the NRB has set the Euro at a buying rate of NPR 166.49 and a selling rate of NPR 166.19. The British Pound Sterling is fixed at NPR 190.36 for buying and NPR 191.17 for selling, while the Swiss Franc has been set at NPR 177.60 for buying and NPR 178.35 for selling. The Australian Dollar is pegged at NPR 93.50 for buying and NPR 93.90 for selling. In the East Asian market, the South Korean Won per 100 units is NPR 10.03 for buying and NPR 10.07 for selling. Additionally, the Swedish Krona is set at NPR 15.05 for buying and NPR 15.11 for selling, and the Danish Kroner at NPR 22.16 for buying and NPR 22.26 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 18.21 and a selling rate of NPR 18.29.

Among higher-value currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 463.97 for buying and NPR 465.84 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is set at NPR 376.05 for buying and NPR 377.64 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is pegged at NPR 368.19 for buying and NPR 369.75 for selling. Indian currency also remains a crucial reference for cross-border trade, with NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per NPR 100.
