High-Level Representation Strengthens NTB’s Presence
The NTB delegation included Mr. Khuman Singh Tamang, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal in Russia, and Mr. Mani Raj Lamichhane, Senior Director of Nepal Tourism Board. Both addressed the congress on emerging MICE trends, sharing insights into Nepal’s evolving tourism offerings and the country’s readiness to host international business events. Their participation reinforced Nepal’s commitment to enhancing its global tourism profile and attracting new partnerships in the MICE sector.
NTB extended its appreciation to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Nepal and the event organizers for facilitating the engagement. The support of these partners helped strengthen NTB’s message to international buyers and highlighted the importance of collaboration in expanding Nepal’s reach in the global MICE market.
Promoting Experiential and Innovative Business Travel
Through its participation at MGMC 2025, NTB showcased how Nepal combines modernity and tradition, offering an immersive experience for business travelers. With scenic venues, cultural authenticity, and emerging infrastructure, Nepal is gradually establishing itself as a competitive and attractive option for MICE tourism. The NTB team’s outreach also focused on promoting incentive travel packages, corporate retreats, and conference-hosting capabilities that align with international standards.
Future Prospects and Global Tourism Strategy
NTB’s engagement at MGMC 2025 reflects its ongoing efforts to tap into the growing demand for experiential and innovative business travel destinations. By positioning Nepal strategically in global business tourism conversations, the board aims to attract more international conferences, corporate events, and incentive travel programs, strengthening Nepal’s reputation as a multi-faceted tourism destination.

“Nepal offers a unique combination of natural beauty, cultural richness, and modern event infrastructure, making it an ideal choice for global MICE travelers,” said Mr. Mani Raj Lamichhane, Senior Director of NTB. “Through platforms like MGMC, we aim to connect with international partners and demonstrate Nepal’s readiness to host world-class business events.”
