Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) has announced that Majestic Lake Front Hotel & Suites, located in Pokhara’s picturesque Lakeside area, will serve as the official hotel for the 22nd edition of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award, scheduled for Poush 23, 2081. This marks the first time the prestigious award ceremony is being held outside Kathmandu, highlighting Pokhara as a key hub for Nepalese sports and hospitality.
The agreement ensures that all athletes, sports officials, and distinguished guests attending the award program will be accommodated at the hotel, which will also host the award’s main secretariat during the event.

Official Agreement Signed
The partnership was formalized with the signing of an agreement between NSJF President Niranjan Adhikari and Majestic Lake Front Hotel Chairman Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai. Under the agreement, the hotel will provide accommodation for visiting guests from outside Pokhara, and the award secretariat will operate from the hotel premises during the ceremony.
Expressing his excitement, Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai said, “It is a matter of pride for our hotel to be associated with Nepal’s most prestigious sports award, especially as it is being organized outside the capital for the first time. Ensuring the success of this event is the responsibility of all Pokhara residents.”

People’s Choice Award and Voting Process
The People’s Choice Award, which allows fans to vote for their favorite athletes, has already announced its nominees. The shortlisted athletes include:

- Himal Sunari (Volleyball)
- Pooja Mahato (Cricket)
- Rekha Paudel (Football)
Fans are participating in digital voting via the Khalti IME app, reflecting the growing integration of technology and sports fan engagement in Nepal.
