Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has emphasized that tourism serves as the backbone of Nepal’s national economy. Speaking at the special Diamond Jubilee celebration of the Hotel Association Nepal in Lalitpur, he highlighted the sector’s significant contributions to employment generation, cultural exchange, international recognition, and strengthening diplomatic relations.
The Vice President noted that tourism not only drives economic growth but also serves as a vital platform for showcasing Nepal’s rich heritage and hospitality to the world. He encouraged industry stakeholders to continue promoting sustainable practices while enhancing Nepal’s global image.

Vice President Yadav urged the Hotel Association to prioritize sustainable tourism, a green economy, digital transformation, and international partnerships. He stressed that aligning tourism development with modern technology and eco-friendly practices would ensure long-term sector growth while preserving Nepal’s natural and cultural resources.
