The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) formally extended a farewell to the Nepalese delegation participating in FITUR 2026 at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, marking a significant moment for Nepal’s private tourism sector. More than 30 tour and travel companies are representing Nepal, with over 50 tourism professionals and business representatives taking part. The delegation is departing for Madrid in phases, with some participants already having completed their travel, while the remaining representatives are scheduled to depart on various international flights starting from tomorrow. The overall coordination and leadership of Nepal’s participation at FITUR 2026 has been entrusted to Mr. Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Executive Board Member of NATTA, who is serving as the Coordinator of the delegation. A formal farewell ceremony was held at Tribhuvan International Airport to bid warm wishes to the departing delegation. NATTA President Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya led the ceremony, accompanied by Vice President Mr. Ghanshyam Ghimire, General Secretary Ms. Yuvika Bhandari, Treasurer Mr. Suresh Amgai, Joint Treasurer Mr. Dhak Nath Kafle, and the Executive Chief of NATTA.
