The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with five leading Nepali travel companies, successfully concluded its participation at the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show 2026, held from March 7–8, 2026. The event provided a dynamic platform for Nepal to showcase its diverse tourism offerings and attract interest from the U.S. travel market.
The Nepal Pavilion highlighted the spirit of the Nepal Himalaya through adventure tourism, cultural encounters, authentic cuisine, and the renowned warmth and hospitality of the Nepali people. Visitors were offered an immersive glimpse into Nepal’s rich landscapes, trekking opportunities, and unique cultural heritage.
Promoting Adventure, Culture, and Responsible Travel
The showcase emphasized Nepal’s world-class trekking and outdoor adventures, from short treks to multi-week expeditions, while also promoting sustainability and responsible tourism practices. The pavilion provided detailed information on itineraries, eco-friendly tourism options, and ways travelers can explore Nepal while respecting local communities and environments.

NTB officials engaged with media professionals, content creators, and travel bloggers to strengthen partnerships and expand Nepal’s visibility in the U.S. travel market. In addition, NTB is coordinating with Nepali embassies, consulates general, honorary consuls, and diaspora and student communities to further collaborative tourism promotion in upcoming programs.
Participation of Leading Nepali Travel Companies
The event featured five prominent Nepali travel companies: Adventure Outdoor Treks & Expedition, Altitude Himalaya, Earthbound Expeditions, Rolwaling Excursion, and Satori Adventures.
These companies showcased and promoted various tour and trekking packages ranging from two-week itineraries to longer mountain expeditions lasting up to eight weeks, including programs to Everest and other Himalayan peaks. Participating companies reported strong interest from both travelers and industry partners, reflecting a growing demand for adventure and cultural experiences in Nepal.
Strategic Visibility and Engagement
The Nepal stall, strategically located near the entrance of the exhibition, attracted steady visitor traffic throughout the event. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Nepal’s trekking routes, cultural programs, and travel packages, while also interacting with NTB representatives for detailed guidance.

Bimal Kadel and Janaki Prasad Upadhyaya represented NTB at the show, engaging directly with international visitors and promoting Nepal as a premier travel destination in the U.S. market.
Strengthening Nepal’s Presence in International Tourism
The participation at the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show 2026 reinforces NTB’s strategy to expand Nepal’s footprint in global tourism markets. By highlighting adventure tourism, cultural experiences, and sustainable travel options, NTB and its partner companies aim to attract U.S. travelers and establish long-term tourism connections.
With the growing international interest in Nepal’s Himalayan adventures and cultural richness, initiatives like these continue to elevate the country’s profile as a top global destination for travelers seeking both adventure and authentic experiences.
