Hotels & Tourism Records Significant Loss
The Hotels and Tourism Index fell by 119.80 points (1.56%), closing at 7,528.43, following a 144.83-point drop in the previous session. The hotel and tourism opened at 7,742.77, reached an intraday high of 7,742.76, and hit a low of 7,502.89, reflecting continued pressure on the sector.

NEPSE Benchmark Index Falls
The NEPSE slipped by 46.78 points (1.64%) to 2,796.57, after a 32.08-point decline in the prior session. The trading day saw the index open at 2,852.83, peak at 2,854.48, and drop to a low of 2,793.39.

Market turnover for the day reached Rs. 13.18 Arba, with 36,049,451 shares traded across 329 companies in 115,550 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.83 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.33 Kharba, signaling sustained investor caution amid the downward trend.
