Ram Chandra Regmi has been elected as the President of the Kanchanpur Hotel Association. His unanimous election took place during the association’s 27th Annual General Meeting and 16th District Convention held on Saturday.
In his acceptance speech, Regmi pledged to advocate for the rights and interests of hotel entrepreneurs. He expressed his eagerness to elevate the hotel industry to a respectable profession in the coming days.
The convention also saw the election of other key officials: Atamaram Khanal was elected as Administrative Vice President, Kailash Karki as Tourism Vice President, Nawaraj Joshi as General Secretary, Dambar Bahadur Khadka as Secretary, Shiva Bhandari as Treasurer, and Nainsingh Bohara as Joint Treasurer.
The elected members of the association include Muktimaya Shrestha, Krishna Rana, Dhan Bahadur Rawat, Gaurav Bhatta, Sanjay Kumar Bhatta, Ramesh Bahadur Rawal, and Tapendra Kumar Rokaya.
The newly elected team is expected to work collaboratively to advance the hotel business in Kanchanpur, ensuring better standards and promoting tourism in the region.
