Malaysia Airlines has been honored with 10 prestigious awards at the Content Marketing Awards Asia Pacific 2026, recognizing the airline’s excellence in storytelling, branded content, and marketing campaigns across the travel and hospitality industry.
Leading the achievements, Malaysia Airlines received the National Award for Malaysia in both the Best Storytelling Campaign and Best Content Campaign in the Travel & Hospitality categories. The National Award is presented to the highest-scoring participant from Malaysia, highlighting the airline’s outstanding performance in content marketing.

Award-Winning Campaigns Recognized Across Multiple Categories
Among the airline’s top accolades was a Gold Award for Best Storytelling Campaign for its “Time for Chiang Mai” campaign.
Malaysia Airlines also secured three Silver Awards, including:
- Best Storytelling Campaign for “Thousand-Mile Horse: Journeying Together in the Year of the Horse”;
- Best Branded Partnership Campaign for “Malaysia Airlines x Manchester United: Proud Supporters of Supporters”; and
- Best Seasonal Content Campaign for “Thousand-Mile Horse: Journeying Together in the Year of the Horse.”

In addition, the airline received five Bronze Awards for:
- Best Storytelling Campaign – “A330neo: The Flight of Your Dreams”;
- Best Content Campaign for Product Launch – “Time for Chiang Mai”;
- Best Integrated Content Campaign – “Time for Chiang Mai”;
- Best Content Campaign in Travel & Hospitality – “Time for Chiang Mai.”

Recognition Reflects Commitment to Passengers and Future Growth
Malaysia Airlines said the awards represent more than creative excellence, reflecting the trust and confidence passengers place in the national carrier.
The airline noted that the recognition supports its Destination 2030 strategy, under which it aims to become one of the world’s top 10 global airlines and among the top five airlines in the Asia-Pacific region by 2030.
