Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended a heartfelt invitation to tourists worldwide to visit Nepal and witness its breathtaking natural beauty. This call was made during the premiere of the reality show ‘The Challengers: Game of Himalayas,’ which chronicles the adventurous journey of selected vloggers from Lukla Airport to Everest Base Camp.
In his address, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that Nepal’s stunning landscapes are unparalleled and that visitors will undoubtedly be compelled to return after their first visit. He highlighted that the reality show will help the world learn more about Nepal’s majestic mountains and natural beauty, suggesting that experiencing Nepal’s nature is essential for a meaningful life.
“The joy of seeing Nepal’s mountains, nature, rivers, and lakes, and enjoying a jungle safari on an elephant is beyond words,” Prime Minister Oli remarked.
He also addressed concerns about Lukla Airport, often labeled as dangerous. Prime Minister Oli assured that all airports pose inherent risks and that highly skilled and experienced aviation professionals operate Lukla Airport. “I have flown to Lukla many times. Despite the challenging landscape and short runway, there are 85 flights daily, and no accidents have occurred due to the expertise of our pilots. Lukla Airport is safe,” he stated.
The Prime Minister further mentioned other remarkable mountains in Nepal, such as Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri, underscoring Nepal’s vast array of natural attractions.
The premiere show was attended by notable figures, including Prime Minister Oli’s spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, officials from the American Embassy in Nepal, renowned artists, and other social personalities.
Directed by Shree Gurung, ‘The Challengers: Game of Himalayas’ features eleven young vloggers aged 19 to 30 from six countries, including Nepal. This reality show promises to bring global attention to Nepal’s extraordinary natural beauty and adventurous spirit.
