The tourism capital of Gandaki Province, Pokhara, is set to host an international “Hot Air Balloon Festival.” The festival aims to invigorate Pokhara’s tourism sector by organizing various tourist activities.
Balloons Nepal Private Limited is organizing the event, which will feature an investment of over NPR 6 million. The company’s chairman, Bikram Bade, announced that the festival will coincide with the English New Year, running from Poush 14 to 18.
The festival is being organized with the support and collaboration of several organizations, including the Nepal Tourism Board, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Gandaki Provincial Government, Pokhara Metropolitan City, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, and the Pokhara Tourism Council.
This event is expected to attract both domestic and international tourists, providing a unique and exhilarating experience while promoting Pokhara as a prime tourist destination.
