Galaxy Macau and Ant Bank Launch First Fintech Station Embedded in Macau Resort

Galaxy Macau and Ant Bank (Macao) Limited have jointly launched a new Financial Services Station at Taste of Asia, marking the first time digital banking services have been directly integrated into a Macau integrated resort environment.

The initiative brings financial technology closer to tourists and consumers by combining self-service banking, financial consultation, interactive fintech displays and future membership services within the resort’s tourism, retail, dining and entertainment ecosystem.

The collaboration represents a new model of integrating financial services with tourism and lifestyle experiences, while supporting Macau’s broader ambition to develop as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.

Macau Moves Toward Fintech-Enabled Tourism

The launch comes as destinations around the world increasingly explore ways to integrate digital payments, banking, loyalty programs and other financial technologies into the visitor experience.

For Macau, the initiative supports its broader efforts to diversify its economy beyond traditional tourism and gaming while developing new opportunities in technology, finance and lifestyle services.

The Financial Services Station therefore represents more than the introduction of a new banking facility. It demonstrates how financial technology can be incorporated directly into tourism infrastructure, creating a more connected experience for visitors while supporting Macau’s ambition to become a smart, diversified and fintech-enabled tourism destination.
