A total of 590 Nepali and foreign nationals have been reported missing following the devastating floods in Rasuwa, according to details issued by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The data shows that all 590 individuals listed in the report remained missing at the time of compilation, with none yet recorded as found.
Among those reported missing are 177 Indian nationals, the largest number among foreign nationals. The list also includes 63 citizens of the United States, 53 from Ukraine, 34 from Australia, 33 from the United Kingdom, 28 from Malaysia and 25 from Canada.
Nepali nationals account for 114 of the missing persons. The list further includes nationals from several European, Asian, African and other countries.
Tourists Linked to Multiple Travel and Trekking Agencies
The NTB data also identifies several travel and trekking agencies associated with people reported missing in the Rasuwa flood.
Among them, Trekkers Society has the highest number at 92 people, followed by Samrat Tours & Travels with 71, Leaf Holiday with 55, Himalayan Glacier with 52, and Kailash Journey with 31.
Other agencies listed in the data include Fishtail Tours & Travels, Kathmandu Holiday Tours & Travels, Alpine Eco Trek, Richa Tours & Travels, and Explore Vacation.
The figures highlight the significant impact of the flood on tourists and travelers in the Rasuwa region and underscore the scale of the ongoing search and rescue operation.
