The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has intensified its humanitarian efforts to support families affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa by mobilizing its executive committee members and the wider membership through a dedicated Relief Fund.
NATTA has been coordinating closely with disaster management and relief distribution teams working in the flood-affected areas to assess the immediate needs of affected communities and facilitate the delivery of essential supplies.
Kitchen Supplies and Clothing Identified as Immediate Needs
According to information received from the affected areas, cooking and eating utensils, kitchen-related supplies, and clothing have emerged as some of the most urgently required relief materials.
Based on the identified needs, NATTA has planned to hand over its first batch of collected relief materials to the designated relief distribution center on August 29, 2026 (Bhadra 13, 2083).
The association has urged its members to contribute whatever essential items they can provide and participate actively in the relief initiative during this difficult period.
Members Urged to Support Relief Collection
NATTA has requested its members to bring available or donated essential items to the NATTA Secretariat between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on August 29.
The association said that even a small contribution from individuals can provide significant assistance to families affected by the disaster.
Relief Materials to Be Delivered to Affected Communities
NATTA has already coordinated with the relevant relief distribution teams to ensure that the collected materials are systematically transported to the affected areas and reach families in need.
The association has also appealed for the active participation and support of its entire membership, emphasizing the importance of collective humanitarian action as rescue, relief, and recovery efforts continue in flood-hit Rasuwa.
