Post-Mortem to Be Conducted on Victims of Air Dynasty Helicopter Crash

The bodies of those who perished in the Air Dynasty helicopter crash on Wednesday afternoon are set to undergo post-mortem examinations today. The post-mortem will be carried out at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where the bodies are currently being held.

Given the severe burns sustained by the victims, DNA tests may be required for identification purposes.

The helicopter, which had departed from Kathmandu for Syabrubesi, crashed in Shivapuri, Nuwakot, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. Security personnel collected the bodies from the crash site and transported them to the hospital.

This tragic incident underscores the inherent risks of air travel in Nepal’s challenging terrain and highlights the critical need for stringent safety measures and protocols in aviation.
