The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association Nepal (HSMAN) is set to convene its First Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2083, bringing together its general members to review the association’s activities and progress since its establishment and discuss its future direction.
The first AGM of HSMAN will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 (24 Ashwin 2083) at Sarasadan Boutique Hotel, Tilganga, Kathmandu, beginning at 11:00 AM. The association has extended an invitation to all its general members to participate in the inaugural annual gathering.

First AGM to Review Institutional Progress
The upcoming AGM marks an important milestone for HSMAN as it is the first annual general meeting to be organized since the establishment of the association. The meeting is expected to provide a formal platform to review the organization’s activities, initiatives and progress from its establishment to the present.
During the AGM, the association will present its annual report and financial report to the general members. Members will have an opportunity to review the organization’s performance, activities undertaken during the year and its financial position. The meeting is also expected to facilitate discussions on the association’s institutional priorities and areas requiring further development as it moves into the next phase of its operations.
Future Direction and Strategic Plans on Agenda
According to the invitation issued by HSMAN, discussions during the AGM will also focus on the association’s future direction, upcoming action plans and broader strategies. The association is expected to discuss ways to strengthen its role in supporting professionals working in hospitality sales and marketing while promoting greater cooperation, networking, learning and business opportunities within the sector. The AGM will provide members with an opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to decisions concerning the association’s future activities and organizational priorities.

Focus on Unity, Networking and Professional Growth
HSMAN has highlighted togetherness, unity, networking, learning and business growth as key themes of its first annual gathering. The association has emphasized that the active participation of its general members will be important in strengthening its institutional journey.
The hospitality industry relies heavily on professional networks, sales strategies, marketing capabilities and collaboration among hotels, resorts and other hospitality businesses. Against this backdrop, HSMAN aims to bring industry professionals together through a common platform focused on professional interaction and business development. The association has described the members’ presence at the first AGM as a source of strength for the organization and has encouraged all general members to attend the event.
Dashain-Tihar Greetings and Networking Programme
Alongside the AGM, HSMAN will also organize a Dashain-Tihar greetings exchange programme for its general members. The gathering is expected to provide an informal networking opportunity for hospitality sales and marketing professionals while also marking the festive season. The programme will bring members together beyond the formal AGM proceedings and provide an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships within the hospitality sector. The combined AGM and festive gathering is expected to encourage greater interaction among members and reinforce the association’s emphasis on collaboration and unity.

Members Encouraged to Participate
HSMAN has called on all its general members to attend the first AGM and contribute to the institutional development of the association. The organization has stated that members’ participation will be important in strengthening its journey toward greater cooperation, unity, networking, learning and business growth.
The first AGM is therefore expected to serve not only as a statutory annual gathering but also as a platform for hospitality sales and marketing professionals to discuss their collective priorities and establish a strategic foundation for the association’s future activities. The event will be held at Sarasadan Boutique Hotel, Tilganga, Kathmandu, at 11:00 AM on 24 Ashwin 2083 (October 10, 2026). HSMAN has urged all general members to make their presence at the event.
