Lufthansa has introduced its new Allegris cabin experience on daily flights between Munich and Singapore, bringing upgraded comfort, greater privacy and more personalised seating options to passengers travelling on the long-haul route. The service is operated by newly configured Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring redesigned cabins across First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.
The introduction of Allegris also marks the return of a dedicated First Class cabin on Lufthansa’s Singapore route. With private suites, flexible Business Class seating and improved onboard technology, the airline is aiming to make long-distance travel more comfortable while strengthening its premium service offering in Southeast Asia.

Lufthansa Introduces Allegris on Daily Munich–Singapore Flights
The new cabin experience is available on Lufthansa’s daily service between Munich Airport and Singapore Changi Airport. The Airbus A350-900 aircraft operating the route feature the airline’s latest interior design, with upgraded seating arrangements and passenger facilities across all four travel classes.
The move forms part of Lufthansa’s broader strategy to modernise its long-haul fleet, strengthen its international network and deliver a more consistent passenger experience across key routes. By introducing the Allegris cabin on the Munich–Singapore service, the airline is upgrading one of its important connections to Southeast Asia while offering travellers a wider choice of seating and comfort options across different travel classes. Lufthansa also plans to deploy larger Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on selected high-demand schedules in the future, adding capacity to routes where passenger demand requires it and further supporting the airline’s long-haul fleet development.

Private First Class Suites Bring More Privacy and Comfort
One of the biggest highlights of the Allegris cabin is its redesigned First Class section. Passengers can enjoy fully enclosed suites featuring high privacy walls and sliding doors, creating a more private space throughout the journey. The cabin also includes a special Suite Plus arrangement designed for two passengers travelling together. It features an extra-wide sofa bed, allowing companions to share a more spacious seating and sleeping area. Additional facilities include individually adjustable seat heating and cooling, wireless mobile charging and large 43-inch 4K entertainment screens.
Five Business Class Seats Cater to Different Travel Needs
Lufthansa has introduced five different seating options in Allegris Business Class instead of following a single standard seat design. Each option is intended to suit different passenger preferences, whether they prioritise privacy, additional space, working comfort or a longer sleeping surface. The First Row Suite offers sliding privacy doors and higher partitions, while the Extra Space Seat provides additional room and workspace.
Passengers looking for a quieter position can choose the window-side Privacy Seat, which offers greater separation from aisle activity. The Extra Long Bed is particularly useful for taller travellers, converting into a fully flat bed measuring up to 2.2 metres. The Classic Seat, meanwhile, offers direct aisle access and privacy shells measuring 114 centimetres in height. These choices give Business Class passengers greater flexibility in selecting a seat that matches their travel needs.

Premium Economy and Economy Also Receive Upgrades
Premium Economy features a fixed-shell seat design that allows passengers to recline without reducing the personal space of the traveller behind them, offering greater comfort on long-haul journeys. Economy Class also benefits from redesigned ergonomic seats, adjustable headrests, tablet holders, USB-C fast-charging ports and Bluetooth audio connectivity, bringing added convenience and a more modern travel experience to passengers.
Economy Class passengers will also benefit from redesigned seats with adjustable headrests, tablet holders, USB-C charging and Bluetooth audio connectivity. These features make it easier for travellers to use personal devices, enjoy in-flight entertainment and stay connected during the flight. With the Allegris introduction on its Munich–Singapore route, Lufthansa is expanding its premium travel offering while giving passengers more choices throughout the cabin. The upgraded Airbus A350-900 aircraft bring together improved seating, modern technology and greater privacy, reflecting the airline’s focus on enhancing the long-haul passenger experience.
