The online travel aggregator (OTA) platform ‘Trip Turbo’ has officially launched, offering a wide range of travel-related services accessible directly through a mobile app. With this platform, users can easily book various travel and tour services, including flight tickets, adventure tourism activities, bus tickets, and hotel reservations.
According to Shikhar Prasai, the founder of Trip Turbo, the platform allows users to book tickets for various adventure activities such as rafting, bungee jumping, paragliding, hot air ballooning, ziplining, and ice skating, among others.
Trip Turbo is a sister company of Natraj Tours and Travels, which has been active in the tourism industry for over five decades. As a promotional offer, customers booking flight tickets through Trip Turbo will receive a discount of NPR 300 on their first ticket and NPR 200 on subsequent tickets.
Initially launched as a trial in January 2024, the app is now fully operational. Users can make payments for any service via popular digital payment methods such as eSewa, Khalti, mobile banking, and international cards like Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, and American Express.
Prasai emphasized that the app was designed to bridge the gap between service providers and customers, further enhancing the tourism sector while contributing to the preservation of Nepal’s culture and history. He also mentioned that Trip Turbo plans to expand its services in the near future, including international flight bookings and hotel reservations through the app.
