Hotel and Tourism Index Drops as NEPSE Continues Downward Trend

In today’s trading session, the NEPSE Index continued its downward trajectory, falling by 22.73 points, or 0.86%, to close at 2,610.21. This decline follows a previous session’s drop of 13.09 points. The index opened at 2,636.30 points, reached an intraday high of 2,651.19 points, but ultimately fell to a low of 2,601.91 points by the end of the day.

Similarly, the Hotel and Tourism Index also experienced a decline, falling by 35.01 points, or 0.52%, to close at 6,677.34. This drop follows a session where the index had remained unchanged. During today’s trading, the Hotel and Tourism Index started at 6,728.1 points, peaked at 6,758.30 points, and dropped to a low of 6,598.59 points before settling at 6,677.34 points.
