Jungle Safari Lodge Launches ‘Dashain Tihar in Sauraha’ Package for Nepali Tourists

Targeting the festive season of Dashain and Tihar, Jungle Safari Lodge in Sauraha, Chitwan has introduced a special travel package called “Dashain Tihar in Sauraha.”

The package, available from October 1 to November 15, offers a two-night, three-day stay in Sauraha for Nepali tourists at a discounted price of NPR 13,000 per person.

Under this offer, guests will enjoy welcome drinks, a two-night stay in a super deluxe room, two lunches, two dinners, breakfast, a jeep safari, boat ride, a visit to the elephant breeding center, Tharu dance performance, a sunset view, and a tour of the Tharu village.

According to Suman Ghimire, Executive Director of Jungle Safari Lodge, tourists will also receive a coffee coupon for Café de Safari, located in Sauraha, as part of the package.

“We’ve introduced this offer to encourage domestic tourism, which is playing a significant role in reviving the tourism industry post-COVID,” Ghimire said. He added that the package requires a minimum of two participants to avail the offer.

Children under five years can join for free, while those aged 5 to 10 will receive a 25% discount, according to the lodge.

Ghimire mentioned that they have been offering similar packages during Dashain and Tihar for over a decade and plan to continue this tradition in the future. Additionally, Jungle Safari Lodge is providing special discounts on seminar halls and residential packages for conferences during the festive season.
