Manakamana Darshan Pvt. Ltd. has announced that the Manakamana cable car service will be closed for two days during the Dashain festival. The service will be unavailable on Saturday, 26th Ashwin (Vijaya Dashami), and Sunday, 27th Ashwin (Ekadashi).
Regular operations of the cable car will resume on Monday, 28th Ashwin.
Established in 2055 BS, the Manakamana Cable Car is Nepal’s first cable car service, offering a convenient 10-minute ride from Ichchakamana-4, Kurintar in Chitwan, to the revered Mankamana Temple in Gorkha. It serves as a crucial transportation link for pilgrims and visitors to the temple.
Travelers are advised to plan their visits accordingly during the festive closure.
