Guru Travels Limited Celebrates Second Anniversary with Free UNESCO World Heritage Tours

Guru Travels Limited, Nepal’s first public limited travel company, celebrated its second anniversary on Shrawan 25 by completing seven free UNESCO World Heritage tour programs.

The tours featured visits to some of Nepal’s most iconic cultural sites, including Changunarayan Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddha Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhu Stupa.

The initiative welcomed 20 social media influencers selected through a lucky draw, along with 10 individuals chosen to commemorate the anniversary. This event aimed to raise awareness about Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and its significance in tourism.

HAMS Hospital in Kathmandu generously supported the initiative by providing health examination services to participants during the tours, ensuring their well-being throughout the experience.

Anil Dharel, Chief Operating Officer of Guru Travels Limited, emphasized the company’s mission to connect various aspects of society with tourism. He highlighted the crucial role that tourism plays in education and culture, stating, “Our goal is to contribute to sustainable socio-economic transformation by promoting unique tourist destinations and experiences.”

Dharel further noted that the tour program will continue as a social campaign, with plans for future initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and appreciation of Nepal’s cultural heritage.

Through this celebration, Guru Travels Limited is reaffirming its commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of tourism’s impact on society while promoting Nepal’s historical and cultural treasures.
