Car Accident in Pyuthan Injures Four Indian Tourists

A car accident in Pyuthan has left four Indian tourists injured. The incident occurred around 1:30 PM today while they were returning from the religious and tourist site of Swargadwari, specifically in Takura Thumka, Bhiringi of Swargadwari Municipality-4.

The vehicle involved in the accident, with Indian license plate number UP 56 AA 4222, reportedly fell 20 meters off the road into a jungle, according to Inspector Navinkumar Thapa Chhetri, the head of the Bhiringi Area Police Office.

There were five people in the car, including the driver, and four of them sustained injuries. The injured include 53-year-old Virendra Pandey and 43-year-old Shubhadra Pandey, who suffered head injuries; 17-year-old Jaya Pandey, who had injuries to her head and body; and 55-year-old Shila Pandey, who also sustained body injuries. The driver, 45-year-old Alilekh Kumar Pandey, reportedly sustained only minor injuries.

The injured tourists are receiving treatment at the Bhiringi Primary Health Center. Police have also indicated that relatives from India are on their way to assist them.
