Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the official exchange rates for various foreign currencies for today. According to NRB, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is set at NPR 134.56, while the selling rate is NPR 135.16.
For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 144.21, and the selling rate is NPR 135.16. The buying rate for one British Pound Sterling stands at NPR 173.20, with a selling rate of NPR 173.97. Additionally, the Swiss Franc’s buying rate is NPR 153.48, and the selling rate is NPR 154.16.
The exchange rates for other currencies are as follows: the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 88.33 and a selling rate of NPR 88.73; the Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 96.75 and the selling rate NPR 97.18; the Singapore Dollar is at NPR 100.87 for buying and NPR 101.32 for selling.
For the Japanese Yen, the rate for 10 units is NPR 8.73 for buying and NPR 8.77 for selling. The Chinese Yuan’s buying rate is NPR 18.76 and the selling rate is NPR 18.85. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 35.82 for buying and NPR 35.98 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 36.91 and the selling rate NPR 37.08.
The Thai Baht’s buying rate is NPR 3.93 and the selling rate is NPR 4.15. For the UAE Dirham, the buying rate is NPR 36.63 and the selling rate NPR 36.80, while the Malaysian Ringgit is set at NPR 30.56 for buying and NPR 30.79 for selling. The South Korean Won’s rate for 100 units is NPR 9.61 for buying and NPR 9.66 for selling, while the Swedish Krona’s rate is NPR 12.38 for buying and NPR 12.44 for selling. The Danish Krone’s buying rate is NPR 19.34, with a selling rate of NPR 19.43.
The buying rate for the Hong Kong Dollar is NPR 17.31, with a selling rate of NPR 17.38. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 438.23 for buying and NPR 440.19 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar’s rate is NPR 356.93 for buying and NPR 358.52 for selling. For the Indian Rupee, the rate for 100 units is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed and that commercial banks may set slightly different rates. Updated exchange rates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
