Bhimbandh Kalika Paragliding, based in Rangrung, Tanahun, is set to launch its eagerly awaited paragliding services this January. Adventurers will take off from Birthung Hill, offering breathtaking aerial views of cultural settlements, the renowned Siddha Cave, and the stunning landscape stretching from the Dhaulagiri to Lamjung mountains. The flight route will also showcase the Seti River, lush hill forests, villages, and a nearby dam.

Flights will be available between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with up to 30 minutes of airtime. Provisional landing spots include Siddha Cave and Denmark Chowk, with designated areas for both solo and tandem flights. Prices are set at Rs. 8,500 for tandem flights and Rs. 12,500 for solo flights. The experience promises spectacular views, including stunning sunrises and sunsets over this less-explored destination.

Managing Director Kamal Shrestha shared that the project has been in development for three years, overcoming challenges related to registration and processing. He emphasized, “It wasn’t easy to navigate the registration and processing, but our team persevered. With Pokhara Airport’s approval, we are ready to offer an unforgettable experience in the skies.”

CEO Kiran Dongol highlighted future plans, stating, “In addition to paragliding, we are planning hiking, trekking, and jungle walks, involving local villagers in development efforts. At an altitude of 970 meters, this destination is perfect for adventurers looking for something fresh and unique.”

The company is also working on homestay management and curated packages to further enhance visitors’ experience. Bhimbandh Kalika Paragliding is committed to promoting tourism and community development, and with the official launch in January, it is ready to take flight, offering a new adventure in Tanahun.
