Nepal Dynamic Eco Tours’ founder, Ms. Doma Paudel, has been honored with the Bob & Jang/Xavier Academy Conservation Award 2025, a prestigious recognition celebrating her remarkable dedication to wildlife conservation, sustainable tourism, and community empowerment in and around Chitwan National Park.
The annual award, established by Bob and Suvimolmanee Dobias (Jang) in collaboration with Xavier Academy, acknowledges individuals and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to protecting natural resources and promoting sustainable development in Nepal and beyond.
Championing Conservation and Communities
For over two decades, Paudel has been a driving force behind community-based conservation initiatives that have significantly strengthened the harmony between humans and wildlife. She has been instrumental in forming anti-poaching units in Chitwan, contributing to the achievement of zero poaching in several areas of the park. These collective efforts have helped increase the populations of endangered species, including tigers and rhinos.
Paudel’s organization, Nepal Dynamic Eco Tours, has long emphasized responsible tourism by connecting travelers with local stories, traditions, and ecological wisdom. The company’s programs aim to ensure that tourism directly supports rural livelihoods while preserving Nepal’s biodiversity.
A Voice for Women and the Environment
During the award ceremony, Paudel delivered an emotional and inspiring message centered on inclusivity, responsibility, and the empowerment of women in conservation.
“This award is not only for me,” she said. “It belongs to the villagers who live side by side with tigers, elephants, and rhinos; to the travelers who leave nothing behind but their footprints; and to the strong women who refuse to believe that conservation is only a man’s job.”
Her words reflected a deep belief that environmental stewardship must be a shared mission, one that involves local communities, travelers, and future generations alike.
Commitment to Climate and Sustainability
Paudel also raised concerns about the growing threats of climate change, urging greater awareness and responsible action.
“Mother Earth is speaking, and we must listen,” she said. “The greatest dangers are not tigers or elephants but plastic pollution, reckless tourism, and indifference. I will continue to fight for a Nepal where people and nature coexist in harmony.”
Her message resonated strongly with attendees, highlighting the need for collective environmental consciousness in the face of global ecological challenges.

This recognition follows closely after she received the WWF Conservation Award 2025, underscoring her growing national and international influence as an advocate for sustainable development and biodiversity protection.

The Bob & Jang/Xavier Academy Conservation Award was created to honor individuals who excel in protecting the environment and fostering sustainable practices. Founders Bob and Jang, who developed a deep appreciation for Nepal’s natural heritage during their stay in the late 1980s, established this award to inspire continued conservation efforts.
