Hotel Pauwa Expands to Janakpurdham with New Four-Star Property

Hotel Pauwa has officially launched its 19th branch in Janakpurdham, one of Nepal’s most important religious and cultural destinations and the historic center of the Mithila civilization.

Operating under the slogan “Where hospitality begins,” the newly established four-star hotel aims to combine the rich cultural heritage of Janakpurdham with international hospitality standards and modern guest services.

Official Inauguration Scheduled for June 5

The official inauguration ceremony of the new property is scheduled for June 5. To mark the occasion, the hotel will organize a three-day “Massive Food Promotion Program,” featuring a wide range of Nepali and international dishes prepared by professional chefs from across the Hotel Pauwa network.

Chairman Durga Prasad Bhandari described the expansion into Janakpurdham as a significant milestone for the company.

He stated that establishing a four-star hospitality facility in a city with immense religious, cultural, and spiritual importance reflects the company’s long-term commitment to Nepal’s tourism and hospitality sector.

Bhandari also expressed confidence that the new hotel will contribute to local tourism growth, strengthen the regional economy, and generate quality employment opportunities for residents.

Modern Facilities for Domestic and International Guests

The new property has been designed to cater to both domestic and international travelers. The hotel features 62 guest rooms along with a range of modern amenities, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam, and spa facilities.

In addition, the hotel houses versatile seminar and conference halls capable of hosting national and international events, business meetings, and social gatherings.

According to management, the facility will provide 24-hour services rooted in authentic Nepali hospitality and high operational standards.

Continued Expansion Despite Economic Challenges

Despite ongoing economic challenges in the country, Hotel Pauwa continues to pursue aggressive nationwide expansion. Originally established in Rupandehi, the company has gradually expanded into a major hospitality network with branches operating in cities such as Bhairahawa, Butwal, Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dhangadhi.

The company is also currently developing a five-star hotel project in Nepalgunj and a luxury resort in Palpa as part of its broader growth strategy.
