The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 7.25 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 2,726.49 points on the latest trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,719.39 points and fluctuated throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,754.08 points and a low of 2,704.96 points before settling at the closing level.
The latest gain follows a stronger rise of 41.70 points in the previous trading session.

Daily Turnover Stands at Rs. 6.67 Arba
Total turnover in the market stood at Rs. 6.67 arba. A total of 14,924,302 shares of 343 companies were traded through 75,010 transactions during the session.

The total market capitalisation of the Nepal Stock Exchange stood at Rs. 46.85 kharba, while the float market capitalisation reached Rs. 15.76 kharba.

Hotels and Tourism Sector Declines
Despite the overall gain in the broader market, the Hotels and Tourism Index recorded a moderate decline. The sectoral fell 17.87 points, or 0.23 percent, to close at 7,460.09 points.
The index had gained 145.47 points in the previous trading session. The Hotels and Tourism Index opened at 7,477.96 points and moved between an intraday high of 7,538.78 points and a low of 7,385.09 points before closing lower.
