The Hotels and Tourism Index recorded a double-digit gain in today’s trading session, rising by 54.99 points (0.69%) to close at 7,993.11. This follows an earlier gain of 116.33 points in the previous trading session, indicating continued momentum in the sector.
The index opened at 7,885.06, touched an intraday high of 8,014.23, and recorded a low of 7,885.06 during the day.

NEPSE Index Also Closes Higher With Strong Turnover
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) also posted a strong gain, rising by 38.19 points (1.39%) to settle at 2,783.85.

This comes after a gain of 27.49 points in the previous trading session, extending the positive trend in the market. The benchmark index opened at 2,747.21, reached an intraday high of 2,783.99, and hit a low of 2,747.18.

Turnover Crosses Rs. 3.61 Arba
Total turnover for the day stood at Rs. 3.61 Arba, with 10,439,432 shares traded across 332 companies through 68,444 transactions.
The total market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 47.48 Kharba, while the float market capitalization stood at Rs. 15.84 Kharba.
