The International Paragliding Premier League, organized by the Nepal Paragliding and Hang Gliding Association, has concluded in Dharan.
In the “Accuracy Overall” category, Aman Thapa Magar emerged as the winner. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs 150,000 along with a medal and trophy, according to Association President Bhupendra Chamling.

Sagar Nepali secured the runner-up position, receiving Rs 100,000, while India’s Aksh Kumar finished third and received Rs 75,000.
Women’s Open Category Results Announced
In the open women’s category, India’s Shreeyashi Tamang secured first place, followed by Ikshya Rai in second place and Bidya Rai in third. The winners received Rs 40,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 15,000 respectively, along with medals.

Team Events Also Concluded
In the team category, the group of Arun Jalari, Anjan Kunwar, Pawan Pariyar, and Riki Pode secured first place. The team of Yubaraj Sunuwar, Sumanjung Thapa, Bishnu Timilsina, and Roshan Basnet came second, while the team of Krishna Bahadur Kshetri, Aman Thapa, and Bishnu Karki finished third. The winning teams received Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000, and Rs 20,000, respectively.
National Category Winners Honoured
In the Accuracy National women’s category, Iksha Rai secured first place with Rs 30,000, Vidya Rai came second with Rs 20,000, and Devaki Maya Sunuwar finished third with Rs 10,000.

In the men’s national category, Aman Thapa won first place with Rs 30,000, Sagar Nepali came second with Rs 20,000, and Pawan Pariyar secured third place with Rs 10,000.
32 Athletes From Nepal and India Participate
The competition, which began on Baisakh 25, featured participation from 32 athletes from Nepal and India, including four women competitors, the organizers said.
