Nepal inaugurates its prestigious International Tourism Fair today, organized by Summit Event and Market Organization, to boost the country’s tourism industry on a global stage.
The fair commences with grandeur, featuring more than 150 stalls representing diverse businesses from 16 participating nations. Bishnu Pandey, Director of Summit Event and Market Organization, highlighted the fair’s crucial role in promoting international collaboration, sustainable growth, and cultural exchange within Nepal’s vibrant tourism sector.
Representatives from India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Maldives, USA, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Bhutan join Nepal in showcasing their tourism offerings. The event emphasizes inclusivity with stalls representing all seven provinces of Nepal, celebrating the nation’s cultural richness.
Pandey underscored the collaborative efforts between the Nepal Tourism Board and Kathmandu Metropolitan City in organizing the fair. Located at the historic Bhrikuti Mandap, the event symbolizes Nepal’s commitment to advancing its tourism sector through robust national and international partnerships.
