Light snowfall occurred in the Pathibhara area last night following moderate rainfall, according to Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee. He mentioned that this is the third snowfall this winter, with previous instances occurring twice in December and January.
At an altitude of 3,794 meters, snowfall has led to a drop in temperature in the region. Prajjin Hangbang, the Executive Director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, stated that snowfall attracts more domestic religious tourists to Pathibhara every year. However, due to insufficient rainfall this winter, crops such as wheat, barley, and potatoes have not thrived, as reported by residents.
