Muktinath Bikas Bank has entered into a commercial agreement with Buddha Air to offer special discounts on air tickets for the bank’s employees and customers.
In a formal event, the agreement was signed by Binaya Ratna Shakya, the Head of the Marketing Department of Muktinath Bikas Bank, and Rupesh Joshi, the Director of Marketing and Sales at Buddha Air.
As per the agreement, Muktinath Bikas Bank customers using the bank’s mobile banking or Visa card will receive up to an 8% discount on air tickets purchased directly from Buddha Air’s ticket counters. Additionally, Rupesh Joshi mentioned that customers will soon be able to avail of this discount through Buddha Air’s mobile app.
In line with the bank’s motto, “It’s Easy to Stay in Nepal,” Muktinath Bikas Bank has introduced various loan schemes, including the “Muktinath Saral Karja,” aimed at supporting small businesses.
To promote digital transactions, the bank has also implemented services such as prepaid dollar cards, mobile banking, QR code payments, online loan applications, online account opening, internet banking, direct remittance deposits, and missed-call banking. These services are designed to be accessible from home, eliminating the need to visit a physical branch.
