The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) is set to organize a one-day Medical Emergency Course tailored for non-medical individuals. The course, exclusively available to Book Holder Members and Professional Members of the NMA, will be conducted over two days—December 28th and 29th, 2024—at the NMA Secretariat, Nagpokhari, Naxal.
This specialized training will be led by Dr. Giovanni Cappa, an emergency medicine expert from Italy. The course aims to equip participants with essential skills to handle medical emergencies effectively, a critical requirement for those involved in mountaineering and adventure tourism.
To ensure personalized learning, only 25 participants will be accommodated each day. Selection will follow a first-come, first-served basis. Interested members are encouraged to visit the NMA Secretariat, complete the participation form, and secure their spot.
The course fee is Rs. 5000 per participant. This initiative underscores the NMA’s commitment to promoting safety and preparedness in the mountaineering community.
