Breaking: Nepal Rastra Bank Sets New Foreign Exchange Rates for Sunday

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today, setting benchmarks for various international currencies against the Nepalese Rupee (NPR). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 138.90, while the selling rate stands at NPR 139.50.

Similarly, the exchange rate for one Euro has been set at NPR 151.38 for buying and NPR 152.03 for selling. The British Pound Sterling is trading at NPR 179.75 for buying and NPR 180.53 for selling. The Swiss Franc stands at NPR 157.02 for buying and NPR 157.70 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian Dollar is being traded at NPR 87.62 for buying and NPR 88.00 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is fixed at NPR 96.25 for buying and NPR 96.67 for selling. The Singapore Dollar’s exchange rate has been set at NPR 104.10 for buying and NPR 104.55 for selling.

The exchange rate for the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is NPR 9.34 for buying and NPR 9.38 for selling. Similarly, the Chinese Yuan is trading at NPR 19.20 for buying and NPR 19.28 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is valued at NPR 37.04 for buying and NPR 37.20 for selling, whereas the Qatari Riyal is exchanged at NPR 38.11 for buying and NPR 38.27 for selling.

For other international currencies, the exchange rates are as follows: the Thai Baht stands at NPR 4.13 for buying and NPR 4.15 for selling, while the UAE Dirham is fixed at NPR 37.82 for buying and NPR 37.98 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is being exchanged at NPR 31.24 for buying and NPR 31.37 for selling. Meanwhile, the South Korean Won (per 100 units) is trading at NPR 9.55 for buying and NPR 9.59 for selling. The Swedish Kroner is set at NPR 13.72 for buying and NPR 13.78 for selling, whereas the Danish Kroner is at NPR 20.29 for buying and NPR 20.38 for selling.

Additionally, the exchange rate for the Hong Kong Dollar has been determined at NPR 17.87 for buying and NPR 17.95 for selling. Among Middle Eastern currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar stands as the highest-valued currency against the Nepalese Rupee, with an exchange rate of NPR 450.86 for buying and NPR 452.80 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is trading at NPR 368.47 for buying and NPR 370.07 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is set at NPR 360.77 for buying and NPR 362.33 for selling.

For the Indian Rupee, Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate at NPR 160.00 per 100 Indian Rupees for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. This exchange rate remains fixed under the Nepal-India currency exchange mechanism.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also stated that the exchange rates may be revised as required, depending on fluctuations in the international currency market.
