Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today, determining the buying and selling values of major international currencies. As per the latest exchange rates set by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 139.70, while the selling rate is fixed at NPR 140.30. Similarly, the exchange rate for one Indian rupee has been set at NPR 1.60 for buying and NPR 1.6015 for selling per INR 100.
The exchange rate for the Euro stands at NPR 144.95 for buying and NPR 145.58 for selling. Likewise, one British Pound Sterling is valued at NPR 175.72 for buying and NPR 176.48 for selling. The Swiss Franc is set at NPR 154.63 for buying and NPR 155.29 for selling. The Australian Dollar, which is widely used in trade transactions, has a buying rate of NPR 86.73 and a selling rate of NPR 87.11. Meanwhile, the exchange rate for the Canadian Dollar is NPR 96.57 for buying and NPR 96.99 for selling. The Singapore Dollar, another key currency in Nepal’s trade and remittance sector, is valued at NPR 103.40 for buying and NPR 103.84 for selling.
Among Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen is valued at NPR 9.27 for buying and NPR 9.31 for selling per 10 units. The Chinese Yuan holds a buying rate of NPR 19.18 and a selling rate of NPR 19.26 per unit. Similarly, the Saudi Riyal has been set at NPR 37.25 for buying and NPR 37.41 for selling, whereas the Qatari Riyal is valued at NPR 38.33 for buying and NPR 38.50 for selling. The exchange rate for the Thai Baht is NPR 4.08 for buying and NPR 4.10 for selling. The UAE Dirham has also been fixed at NPR 38.03 for buying and NPR 38.20 for selling.
Other notable currencies include the Malaysian Ringgit, which has a buying rate of NPR 31.31 and a selling rate of NPR 31.44. The South Korean Won is valued at NPR 9.56 for buying and NPR 9.60 for selling per 100 units. The Swedish Kroner has been set at NPR 12.99 for buying and NPR 13.05 for selling, while the Danish Kroner is valued at NPR 19.44 for buying and NPR 19.52 for selling.

Furthermore, Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the exchange rates for several Gulf currencies. The Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.96 for buying and NPR 18.04 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar, known for being one of the highest-valued currencies, is pegged at NPR 452.13 for buying and NPR 454.07 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar holds an exchange rate of NPR 370.66 for buying and NPR 372.25 for selling. Likewise, the Omani Rial is valued at NPR 362.86 for buying and NPR 364.42 for selling.
