Nepal Rastra Bank has today announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (central bank), the exchange rate for the US dollar has decreased. As per the central bank’s announcement, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 136.72, while the selling rate is NPR 137.32.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 148.28, and the selling rate is NPR 148.93. For the British Pound Sterling, the buying rate stands at NPR 177.16, and the selling rate is NPR 177.94. The Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 155.18 and a selling rate of NPR 155.86.
The Australian Dollar is priced at a buying rate of NPR 86.11 and a selling rate of NPR 86.49. The Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 95.49 and a selling rate of NPR 95.91. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 102.27, and the selling rate is NPR 102.72.
Regarding other currencies, the Japanese Yen is set at a buying rate of NPR 9.13 for 10 yen and a selling rate of NPR 9.17 for 10 yen. The Chinese Yuan stands at a buying rate of NPR 18.85 and a selling rate of NPR 18.93. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.45 and a selling rate of NPR 36.61, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at a buying rate of NPR 37.51 and a selling rate of NPR 37.67.
For the Thai Baht, the buying rate for one baht is NPR 4.04, and the selling rate is NPR 4.06. The UAE Dirham stands at a buying rate of NPR 37.22 and a selling rate of NPR 37.39. The Malaysian Ringgit is valued at a buying rate of NPR 30.83 and a selling rate of NPR 30.97.
Furthermore, the South Korean Won is priced at a buying rate of NPR 9.32 for 100 won and a selling rate of NPR 9.36 for 100 won. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 13.53 and a selling rate of NPR 13.59, while the Danish Krone stands at a buying rate of NPR 19.88 and a selling rate of NPR 19.97.
In addition, the Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.59 and a selling rate of NPR 17.67. The Kuwaiti Dinar is set at a buying rate of NPR 443.55 and a selling rate of NPR 445.50. The Bahraini Dinar stands at a buying rate of NPR 362.69 and a selling rate of NPR 364.28, while the Omani Rial is priced at a buying rate of NPR 355.18 and a selling rate of NPR 356.74. The buying and selling rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 and NPR 160.15, respectively.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as required. Commercial banks may offer different exchange rates based on the open market, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
