Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, keeping the value of the US dollar unchanged compared to the previous day. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 138.28, while the selling rate is NPR 138.88.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for the Euro are NPR 143.31 and NPR 143.93, respectively, while the UK Pound Sterling stands at NPR 171.37 for buying and NPR 172.11 for selling. The Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 151.78 for buying and NPR 152.44 for selling.
Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being exchanged at NPR 85.90 (buying) and NPR 86.27 (selling), while the Canadian dollar stands at NPR 95.19 (buying) and NPR 95.60 (selling). The Singapore dollar is valued at NPR 101.77 for buying and NPR 102.21 for selling.
For Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) has a buying rate of NPR 8.91 and a selling rate of NPR 8.95. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 19.07 (buying) and NPR 19.15 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 36.87 for buying and NPR 37.03 for selling, whereas the Qatari Riyal is being traded at NPR 37.93 (buying) and NPR 38.09 (selling).
Additionally, the Thai Baht is valued at NPR 4.09 (buying) and NPR 4.11 (selling), while the UAE Dirham is set at NPR 37.65 and NPR 37.81 for buying and selling, respectively. The Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 31.04 (buying) and NPR 31.17 (selling). The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is trading at NPR 9.49 for buying and NPR 9.53 for selling. Meanwhile, the Swedish Kroner and Danish Kroner have been set at NPR 12.46 and NPR 19.20 for buying, and NPR 12.52 and NPR 19.28 for selling, respectively.
Among Middle Eastern currencies, the Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.74 (buying) and NPR 17.82 (selling), the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 448.03 (buying) and NPR 449.03 (selling), and the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 366.79 (buying) and NPR 368.38 (selling). The Omani Riyal is being exchanged at NPR 359.64 (buying) and NPR 361.20 (selling).
For the Indian Rupee, the central bank has fixed the buying rate at NPR 160 per INR 100 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision as per market fluctuations. It has also clarified that commercial banks may set their own exchange rates, which could vary. The latest foreign exchange rates are available on the official website of the central bank.
