Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has shortlisted 11 licensed travel agencies to provide international air ticketing and travel agency services for the fiscal year 2083/84 (2026/27).
The central bank’s Property and Services Management Department announced the selection through a public notice, stating that the agencies were enlisted after fulfilling the eligibility requirements outlined under the Nepal Rastra Bank Procurement Regulations, 2071 (including amendments).
The selected agencies have been requested to complete the necessary contract formalities with NRB’s Procurement Unit within seven working days from the publication of the notice dated Ashadh 25, 2083.

11 Travel Agencies Selected
The agencies selected by Nepal Rastra Bank are:
- Everest Miracle Travels and Tours Pvt. Ltd.
- Sea Link Travels and Tours Pvt. Ltd.
- Desire Nepal Treks Travels and Tours
- IME Travels Pvt. Ltd.
- Bon Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd.
- Suruchi Travels & Tours
- Orbit International Travels Pvt. Ltd.
- Moon Sun Travels & Tours
- Ouro Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd.
- Smart Travel Services Pvt. Ltd.
- Precious Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd.
Following the signing of agreements, these companies will provide international air ticketing and related travel services for official overseas visits undertaken by NRB employees and officials throughout the upcoming fiscal year.

Strict Qualification Criteria Applied
According to the central bank, only agencies meeting comprehensive technical, financial, and regulatory requirements were included in the approved list.
To qualify, applicants were required to:
- Hold a valid and updated International Air Transport Association (IATA) membership.
- Have at least five years of operational experience in the travel business.
- Maintain an average annual turnover of at least Rs. 50 million over the previous three fiscal years.
- Possess a foreign exchange transaction license issued by Nepal Rastra Bank.
- Have a renewed company registration.
- Submit tax clearance or proof of tax filing up to the previous fiscal year.
- Be registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) or hold a Permanent Account Number (PAN).
- Deposit a security amount of Rs. 500,000 in Nepal Rastra Bank’s designated security deposit account.
Security Deposit Mandatory
In addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, each selected agency must maintain a security deposit of Rs. 500,000 with Nepal Rastra Bank before the agreement becomes effective.
The deposit serves as a contractual safeguard to ensure compliance with the service obligations throughout the contract period.

By pre-qualifying experienced travel agencies, Nepal Rastra Bank aims to streamline the procurement of international air ticketing services for its officials, ensuring reliable, transparent, and efficient travel arrangements for official foreign visits during the fiscal year 2083/84.
The selection process also reinforces the central bank’s commitment to maintaining high procurement standards by engaging only financially sound, licensed, and internationally accredited travel service providers.
