Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, setting the buying and selling rates for various foreign currencies. According to NRB, the buying rate for one US Dollar has been fixed at NPR 138.70, while the selling rate is set at NPR 139.30. This rate applies to all commercial transactions involving the US Dollar.
In addition to the US Dollar, NRB has also set exchange rates for other major currencies. The Euro has been assigned a buying rate of NPR 150.26 and a selling rate of NPR 150.91 for one Euro. The British Pound Sterling is valued at NPR 179.22 for buying and NPR 180 for selling. The Swiss Franc’s rates are NPR 157.64 for buying and NPR 158.32 for selling.
As for other foreign currencies, the Australian Dollar is set at NPR 87.46 for buying and NPR 87.84 for selling. The Canadian Dollar is valued at NPR 96.46 for buying and NPR 96.87 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar is priced at NPR 104.20 for buying and NPR 104.65 for selling.
Additionally, the exchange rates for other Asian currencies are also specified by NRB. The Japanese Yen has a buying rate of NPR 9.37 for 10 Yen and a selling rate of NPR 9.41 for 10 Yen. The Chinese Yuan is priced at NPR 19.17 for buying and NPR 19.25 for selling. For the Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 36.97 and the selling rate is NPR 37.13, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at NPR 38.05 for buying and NPR 38.22 for selling.

Other notable currencies include the Thai Baht, which has a buying rate of NPR 4.12 and a selling rate of NPR 4.14 for one Baht. The United Arab Emirates Dirham is set at NPR 37.76 for buying and NPR 37.93 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 31.42 for buying and NPR 31.55 for selling. The South Korean Won has a rate of NPR 9.57 for buying and NPR 9.61 for selling per 100 Won. The Swedish Krona is valued at NPR 13.75 for buying and NPR 13.81 for selling, while the Danish Krone is priced at NPR 20.15 for buying and NPR 20.23 for selling.
Other Middle Eastern currencies also have their exchange rates set. The Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.85 for buying and NPR 17.93 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a significantly higher value, with the buying rate set at NPR 450.11 and the selling rate at NPR 452.05. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is priced at NPR 367.92 for buying and NPR 369.51 for selling, and the Omani Rial is set at NPR 360.27 for buying and NPR 361.83 for selling. Furthermore, the Indian Rupee’s exchange rate has been set at NPR 160 for 100 Indian Rupees for buying, and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has also made it clear that these exchange rates can be revised at any time based on market conditions.
