Nepal Tourism Board Successfully Promotes Nepal at CMT 2025 in Germany

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in partnership with the Nepal German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NGCCI), proudly concluded its participation in the Caravan, Motor, and Tourism Fair (CMT) 2025. The event, held from January 18 to 26 at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, is recognized as the world’s largest public trade fair for tourism and leisure, attracting over 260,000 visitors and setting the stage for the upcoming travel season.

Showcasing Nepal’s Tourism Potential

NTB’s stall, located at Hall 6F45, emerged as a key highlight of the event, garnering significant attention from European travelers. Representing Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings were seven leading travel trade companies:

  2. Expert Asian Tours and Travel Pvt. Ltd.
  3. Hotel Manaslu Pvt. Ltd. & Expedition Himalaya.com Pvt. Ltd.

  7. Rural Heritage Pvt. Ltd. / Feel Himalaya Pvt. Ltd.

The stall highlighted Nepal as a premier long-haul destination, emphasizing its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and adventurous experiences. Special attention was given to sustainable tourism, aligning with global trends favoring responsible travel.

Overwhelming Response from European Visitors

Visitors to the Nepal stall responded with enthusiasm, with many expressing a strong desire to explore Nepal. Some had already booked their trips, while others sought detailed travel information, reflecting a well-informed and eager audience. The demand for Nepal as a long-distance travel destination exceeded expectations, further cementing its growing popularity among European tourists.

Strengthening Ties with the European Market

The vibrant engagement and positive feedback at the event underscore Nepal’s rising appeal as a global travel destination. NTB and the participating companies reported productive discussions and significant interest in their products and services, strengthening Nepal’s ties with the European tourism industry.

Looking Ahead to CMT 2026

Building on the success of CMT 2025, NTB anticipates an even stronger presence at next year’s event, scheduled for January 17–25, 2026, in Stuttgart. With a renewed commitment to excellence, NTB aims to further establish Nepal as an exceptional travel destination on the global stage.

This milestone marks a significant step in promoting Nepal’s unique offerings and expanding its reach in the European tourism market, paving the way for increased visitor arrivals in the coming seasons.
