In a strategic move to enhance tourism ties between Nepal and India, the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) hosted a 19-member delegation from the SALEM Tour Operators’ Association (STOA) in South India. The high-level meeting aimed to foster collaboration and explore Nepal’s tourism potential for south Indian travelers.

The delegation received a warm welcome from NTB CEO Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, who emphasized Nepal’s growing appeal among south Indian tourists. Emphasizing the longstanding cultural and historical connections between Nepal and India, Mr. Joshi underscored the vital role the Indian market plays in Nepal’s tourism sector. He highlighted India as a key source of visitors, contributing significantly to Nepal’s tourism growth.
