The Regional Hotel Association Nepal Chitwan has successfully concluded its 20th Annual General Meeting and 10th session, electing a new executive committee to lead the organization for the upcoming term. In a unanimous decision, Om Prakash Pandey, Director of Hotel Landmark Pvt. Ltd., Pokhara, and a member of the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal, has been elected as the new president. His leadership is expected to bring new initiatives and strategic direction to strengthen the hospitality sector in the Chitwan region.
The election witnessed the selection of a dynamic team committed to promoting and enhancing the regional hotel and tourism industry. Alongside Pandey, Gunaraj Thapaliya has been elected as the vice-president, while Mahesh Khanal will serve as the general secretary. Sangam Ghimire has been entrusted with the role of secretary, Babita Chaudhary has been appointed as treasurer, and Ranjan Bhandari will take on the responsibilities of joint treasurer.
Additionally, the working committee members elected to support the leadership include Gopi Chand Sapkota, Krishna Prasad Dahal, Dilip Mali, Subash Chandra Gautam, Ganesh Kumar Dahal, and Deepak Adhikari. Their collective expertise and dedication are expected to contribute significantly to the association’s efforts in fostering growth and innovation within the hospitality sector.

Commitment to Strengthening the Hospitality Sector
The newly elected leadership has pledged to focus on the sustainable development of the hospitality industry in Chitwan, a region known for its thriving tourism sector, which includes Chitwan National Park and other major attractions.
