PM KP Sharma Oli, currently on an official visit to Thailand, met with senior Thai business leaders in Bangkok today. Nepali business representatives were also present at the meeting.
PM Oli traveled to Bangkok on Tuesday to participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit and for an official visit to Thailand at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, leading a 21-member delegation.
On Wednesday, PM Oli and his Thai counterpart discussed various aspects of Nepal-Thailand relations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will attend the BIMSTEC Summit on March 22, where he will meet leaders of other member states.
Accompanying him are First Lady Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, and others. PM Oli is scheduled to return to Nepal on March 23.
